YEREVAN, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS: On initiative of "Alliance" panArmenian
Union on French city Nice on August 4 in Mandello was organized event
dedicated 25th anniversary of Karabakh movement.
"Armenpress" was informed from press service of Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic foreign ministry that at the event entitled "Free
Artsakh is 25 years old" were present ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France Vigen Tchitechyan,
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic permanent representative in France Hovhannes
Gevorgyan, mayor of Mandello Henry Lerua, members of urban council,
more than 500 representatives of Armenian community.
Participants of the event put wreaths at cross-stone erected in
memory of victims of Armenian genocide. During the solemn ceremony
mayor of Mandello announced about joining the Friendship circle
with Artsakh. During the event French-Armenian ensembles introduced
Armenians songs and dances.
