VARDAN OSKANYAN: IN KARABAKH PEACE PROCESS ARMENIA DOESN'T TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION PRECEDENTS LIKE KOSOVO

Yerevan, December 18. ArmInfo. In the Karabakh peace process, Armenia
doesn't take into consideration the precedents like Kosovo.

Nagorno-Karabakh has its own history and the Karabakh conflict has
its own pre-history, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan said
in his interview to the TV company.

According to him, precedents are certainly important in the
international practice - if Kosovo receives complete independence,
Armenian side's position will consolidate in the negotiation process.

And if Kosovo receives conditional independence, this won't
affect the Armenian position and won't become an example for
Nagorno-Karabakh. V.Oskanyan emphasized that Armenia attentively
follows the situation in Kosovo, however, the latter is not a guide
    for Armenia.
