DRESDEN, APRIL 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The 8th stage meetings took place on
April 11 at the Europe Chess Individual Championship held in Dresden.
Andrey Volokitin (Ukraine) is the leader in the men's tournament,
having 6.5 points from the 8 possible ones. 12 participants have 6
points each. Among the representatives of Armenia Tigran L. Petrosian
is the 27th with 5.5 points and Artashes Minasian is the 33rd. Zaven
Andriasian is the 80th with 5 points. Gabriel Sargsian, Arman
Pashikian, Tigran Kotanjian and Ashot Anastasian have 4.5 points
each. Rafayel Vahanian and Karen Asrian got 4 points each.
Tatyana Kozintseva (Russia) is the individual leader in the women's
tournament, having 7.5 points. 7 chess players, among them Elina
Danielian as well, have 6 points each. Lilit Mkrtchian is the 54th
