EXCHANGE OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION IN YEREVAN'S ROSTOVIAN STREET ON APRIL 19
YEREVAN, APRIL 21, NOYAN TAPAN. At 0:45 pm April 19, the RA Police
Erebuni Unit received information that an exchange of fire and an
explosion occured in Yerevan's Rostovian Street. Upon arriving at the
scene of the incident, the operative group found out that at about
0:35 pm on the same day, a group of unknown persons fired shots and
caused an expolsion in the indicated place.
32 cartridges of 5.45-mm and 7.62mm bullets were found at the scene
of the incident.
NT was informed from the RA Police PR and Information Department that
respective measures are being taken to reveal circumstances of the
case, as well as the identities of persons involved and their motives.
A criminal case was opened based on this fact by the RA Criminal
Code's Article 258 Part 4 and Article 235 Part 1. The investigation
is being conducted by the RA Police Erebuni Investigative Unit.
