POLICE PREVENT BRAWL ON PEOPLE'S FRIENDSHIP UNIVERSITY PREMISES

The police have prevented a brawl between visitors of the Russian
University of People's friendship, city police spokesman Viktor
Biryukov told Itar-Tass.
"There was an attempt of brawl between Azerbaijanis and Armenians,
but policemen and OMON servicemen standing guard near the university
prevented it," he said.
Five suspects were detained, and a non-lethal weapon was seized from
one of them.
One person was injured and received medical aid right on the spot,
he said.
"All is quiet on the university premises, and the police are in
control," he said.
