Armenia applies benefits for Iran-Armenia electricity connection

The Armenian government submitted a special draft law for certain
benefits for the electricity line connecting Iran with Armenia has
been under the construction. The project will be exempted from
Armenian taxes. It will be Armenia's investment into the project. The
project is financed by Iran Development Bank which issued credit of 83
million Euro for Armenia. So far there are two power lines connecting
Iran and Armenia. The agreement of construction of third line was
achieved in 2006.
