VICE SPEAKER OF ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT ADVISES HIS GEORGIAN COUNTERPART TO FAMILIARIZE WITH THE HISTORICAL FACTS AND APOLOGIZE TO ARMENIANS

"Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Fridon Todua made quite
an absurd statement far from reality. I'd like to inform him that
no Armenian official has ever made such an incorrect statement on a
third country," said Eduard Sharmazanov, Vice Speaker of the Armenian
Parliament, the press-service of the Armenian Parliament reports.
Recently Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament F. Todua declared
in Baku that "Azerbaijan and Georgia will restore their territorial
integrity and return the occupied territories soon."
"It remains for me to advise my counterpart to get acquainted with
the historical chronicle of his country. "Kartlis Tskhovreba" clearly
states who the indigenous inhabitants of this region are. They are
Armenians and Georgian. Nothing is mentioned about Azerbaijanis in
the work. I hope Todua will apologize to his neighboring country
after getting familiarized with historical facts," he concluded.
