    SOYUN SADIGOV'S EMISSARIES START MEETINGS IN BAKU REGARDING DEFEATIST PEACE ON KARABAKH - UPDATED

    Baku-APA. Two emissaries of Soyun Sadigov, the member of the
    Coordination Council of the newly-established Union of Azerbaijani
    Organizations in Russia, president of Azerbaijan National-Cultural
    Autonomy - Azerros, are in Azerbaijan.

    APA reports quoting lent.az that they have started meetings with
    famous persons of Karabakh origin.

    According to the source, one of them is Sadigov's close relative. The
    other person is not Azerbaijani. They have a concrete list and for
    several days they have been trying to meet with the persons shown
    on the list. The main theme of discussions is the newly-established
    Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia, its prospects, the role
    it will play in Azerbaijan's domestic policy, efficiency of Russia's
    mediation in Karabakh problem, preparation for peace.

    The "guests" have reportedly met with one of the famous persons from
    Karabakh Seyid Jamal Azimbeyli.

    Seyid Jamal Azimbeyli confirmed the fact, said those persons invited
    him to a famous restaurant in Baku.

    "They spoke about the union's future role in Azerbaijan's politics,
    focused on the Russian factor in the resolution of Karabakh problem
    and hinted at the role that the people from Karabakh may play in
    this issue. I explained my position, the interests of the Azerbaijani
    state are important for me, I will not participate in any discussions
    against my state. Therefore, I left them," he said.

    "I haven't sent any emissary to Azerbaijan", said Soyun Sadigov, the
    member of the Coordination Council of the newly-established Union
    of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia, president of Azerbaijan
    National-Cultural Autonomy - Azerros told APA's Moscow correspondent.

    He said that the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia and diplomats
    from the two countries could settle the Nagorno Karabakh conflict:
    "No organization can solve this conflict."
