YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Minister of Nature
Protection Aram Harutyunyan hosted newly appointed representative of
United Nations Development Programme Patrice Coeur-Bizot on November
21. Armenpress was informed from the press and public relations
department of the Ministry.
Interlocutors referred to the activity of Global Ecological Fund,
to the 17 year lasting cooperation of the Ministry and UN Developing
program, as well as to some issues concerning upcoming programs.
Minister of Nature Protection noted that UN Development Programme
was one of the institutions which supported the implementation of
many Global Ecological Fund programs.
Patrice Coeur-Bizot expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and
stressed the importance of the cooperation between the UN development
program and Armenian Ministry. The side reached a preliminary agreement
on organizing tours to Armenia's national parks in near future.
