Armenia to have large-scale investments after joining Customs Union

    YEREVAN. Dec 27

Armenia's joining the Customs Union is in line with the interests of
Armenians and will ensure the economic growth of the country, Armenian
    Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian said.

"Armenia joining the Customs Union is in the interests of our country
and its citizens. We will have the opportunity to enter a large market
and sell our goods," Sargsian said at a news conference on Friday.

Armenia's joining the Customs Union will "create bases for stable
economic growth," the prime minister said.

"Large-scale investments are expected, which Armenia needs," Sargsian said.

The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council approved at a meeting in Moscow
on December 24 the plan of actions regarding Armenia's joining the
Customs Union and the Common Economic Space of Russia, Belarus and
    Kazakhstan.
