BIZIM YOL: WHERE ARE THE 400,000 AZERBAIJANI YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES GONE FROM VOTERS' LIST?

    17:41 27/09/2013 " REGION

CEC of Azerbaijan published figures of the voters eligible to vote
in the upcoming presidential elections to be held on October 9 in the
country. Thus, according to the CEC information, 70,000 young people
will be voting in the elections for the first time.

As the "Bizimyolinfo.com" site reports the last presidential elections
were held in 2008, in Azerbaijan, and the parliamentary elections
were held in 2010. Young people born in the last months of 1990 and
1992 took part in the election for the first time. According to the
information of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan: 182,989
    people were born in 1990, 190,353 people - in 1991, 181,364 people
    - in 1992, 174,618 people - in 1993, 159,761 people - in 1994 and
    143,315 people - in 1995.

According to these figures, the number of the young people who have
received the right to vote in the upcoming presidential election is
680 thousand. The number of young people who will vote for the first
    time is about 480,000.

"Question arises, how did it happen that according to CEC only 70,000
out of 480,000 youth representatives were entitled to vote? So,
does this mean that, infant mortality has reached an unprecedented
scale over the years? This is a striking example of a situation with
demographics which shows how many people have in fact left the country,
or how many children have died. Otherwise CEC has serious problems
with the lists. However, 400,000 young people have vanished from
Azerbaijan," notes the site and wonders, where the representatives
of so many young people disappeared.
