    ELECTIONS ARE DISCREDITED

The Constitutional Court has recessed for deliberations after which
it will rule in connection with the ANC request to declare the results
of the May 6 parliamentary elections invalid.

Congress presented a rich amount of facts about frauds and breaches
stating that more than half a million votes have been rigged in favor
of the Republican Party. ANC also believes that the 380 thousand
people who had voted by 11 o'clock were organized by the authorities,
and they were taken from constituency to constituency for multiple
voting. In addition, Congress believes that the voters underwent
    administrative pressure and were bribed.

Almost the same was stated by the representative of the Prosperous
Armenia Party Vartan Oskanian, ARFD, Heritage and the Communistic
Party. The OSCE/ODHIR report, the CoE and other observers also speak
    about the aforementioned breaches.

CEC and the Republican Party reject all the accusations. Anyway,
they don't reject it but they just try to prove that these frauds
didn't impact on the result of the election. The Constitutional Court
will also state that there were frauds but they didn't influence the
    election outcome.

At the same time, no one was brought to responsibility for the
disappearing ink, for the bribes, terror towards the voters, who
were terrorized at the administrative level. No one has said what
the amount of frauds is which would make the elections invalid.

ANC Coordinator Levon Zurabyan said in his speech at the Central
Election Commission that the frauds impacted the election outcome
and discredited the voting system of Armenia.

This is true, and it's not about who was elected to parliament after
the elections, the problem is the lack of confidence in the electoral
system, the Constitutional Court, which Congress applied only not to
be charged with unsubstantiated statements. In fact, neither Congress
nor anyone else believes in the justice of the CC, which already before
the election had showed that it fulfills the orders of the power.

In the end, if the Constitutional Court had met the request of
the joint election headquarter to publish the list of voters, many
frauds would lack. But it didn't rendering it evident that frauds
    were being planned.

Many assess the May 6 election as the worst in the history. First
of all because the falsifications were so perfected that they seems
legitimate. And if previously, one could catch the falsifiers, this
time, one cannot even sue anybody.

What will the presidential elections be like? Its technology is
somewhat different, the struggle is too personalized, and if, during
the parliamentary elections, the struggle was for more or fewer seats
the party would take, during the presidential election the question
is - elected or not. And the confrontation is inevitable, unless,
of course, the fight will not be staged on a pre-agreed plan.
